Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Data Engineers on evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for the project
- Setting up and configuring the development, production, and other required environments
- Role definition documentation and permission management method
- Implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery processes
- Monitoring the platform's health, performance, and availability
- Planning, estimating, and monitoring infrastructure costs
- Defining and implementing security measures according to best practices
Requirements
- Proficiency in a programming language like Python
- Solid expertise in Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Lakehouse platforms - Databricks
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS with GPU support)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, Azure DevOps
